We are a Sixth Form College of approximately 1,800 full-time students, 90% of whom follow advanced level courses. Many of our students are from disadvantaged backgrounds and our community celebrates its multi-racial and multi-cultural nature. The College is at an exciting time following the opening of our Farnworth Campus in September 2008 and the new Town Centre Campus in September 2010.


Part Time Student Supervisor

Term Time Only

Hours of Work – 10.30am – 1.45pm (16.25 hrs per week) Monday to Friday

To work at either campus as required.

This is a role that involves supervising students as they work independently or as a group. It is a role that involves proactively developing a work culture on the upper floors on both campuses, ensuring that appropriate disciplinary standards and an appropriate working environment are maintained at all times.

The role includes carrying out administrative duties, solving basic computer system problems and responding to enquires from staff and students regarding the flexible learning materials.

Remuneration will be on point 17 of the Support Staff in Sixth Form Colleges pay scale, currently £15,902 (£6,044 actual pro rata).
