Entry Guidelines

The College remains committed to providing post 16 progression opportunities at levels 1, 2 and 3.

We recognise the range of GCSE equivalent courses offered by most schools and have a range of level 3 advanced courses all offering progression routes to higher education. These will be discussed at your interview and an appropriate course will be recommended.

We are an inclusive college and welcome applications from all students irrespective of the location of your secondary school. Minimum entry requirements are not used as part of a selective entry process, but as an opportunity to maximise success by ensuring that appropriate pre-enrolment advice and guidance is given.

If you do not achieve the entry requirements for an advanced programme a number of courses exist at levels 1 and 2. These can enable you to progress through to a level 3 programme, which in some cases could mean more than two years at college.

All students follow full time programmes, consisting of their particular course, tutorial, possibly resit English or Mathematics and Enrichment. The College day is currently 8.45am to 4.00pm.

In all cases individual circumstances will be taken into consideration.
