To commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day, 27 January 2019, Edward Lambert and Rebecca Parkin provided a presentation for the A level History group on the, ‘Origins of the Holocaust’. The 27th January marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp. The Holocaust threatened the fabric of civilisation, and genocide must still be resisted every day. This informative and challenging topic will be discussed at further length by the History students, as it forms a core theme of their studies into the development of Germany 1971–1991.
