Previous student delivers talk to our Sport students
Date Posted: 19/03/2021 | Posted In: Alumni, Student News
It was brilliant to see previous Sport student; Georgia Greenhalgh last week when she visited The Sixth Form virtually to provide an insight into university life as she embarks on her final year at Salford University. Currently, Georgia is obtaining a degree in Sport Rehabilitation (BSc Hons).
Georgia provided our students with excellent details and a clear insight into the reality of being a student in Higher Education and further details on her course and the topics that she studies.
We weren’t the only ones that were impressed with the level of detail and expertise that Georgia shared with us. Equally, our students were, and here’s what they had to say about the session:
Joshua Witter:
“The talk was interesting, and I learned a lot about the different opportunities at university. It has given me a good insight into the sports rehabilitation course and what jobs you can progress to after university.”
Matthew Furgrove:
“The talk gave me a good insight to not only the course at a university level but university life in general. It benefited me personally as Salford university is one of the universities that I am applying to.”
Hamza Musa:
“I enjoyed the talk, and it gave me a clear idea of what sports therapy is. I also became more interested in pursuing either a sports rehab/therapy career in the future.”
