Date Posted: 17/10/2017 | Posted In: College News, Student News

Students took part in British Values & Prevent day at College. Students were engaged in a range of activities exploring British Values and how they relate to our own College values. Team activities were based around democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, tolerance and mutual respect. Professional Puppeteer Steve Wright, brought his amazing show to the College to help students learn about the important of British Values and the impact they have on our lives. His show included themes of mental health, respect, conduct and democracy presented through real life stories, anecdotes and performance. Students also attended sessions relating to staying safe and the Government’s Prevent strategy. It was an engaging and thought-provoking day for both staff and students.
