In a competitive job and university market, students need to ensure they develop the skills that allow them to stand out from the crowd. Students need to be able to talk about more than just academic achievements. 68% of university admissions departments say that regular enrichment adds value to a personal statement. The range and quality of extracurricular activities available at The Sixth Form Bolton is outstanding and supported by highly dedicated staff. Participation in enrichment helps our students grow into mature, responsible, successful young people.
The additional trips off site and amazing guest speakers included in the offer this year were warmly welcomed by students and most certainly added value to the day. It was equally great to see so many of our staff creating highly engaging in-house workshops and sharing their wider skills with students. It’s just another example of how our staff go above and beyond to support our students in their learning.
