Virtual Enrichment Week 2021
Date Posted: 26/03/2021 | Posted In: Enrichment, Student News
Our students have been getting involved in a range of activities during our ‘Virtual Enrichment Week’. Enrichment is all about developing personal and social skills alongside academic qualifications.
In a competitive job and university market, students need to ensure they develop the skills that allow them to stand out from the crowd. Students need to be able to talk about more than just academic achievements. 68% of university admissions departments say that regular enrichment adds value to a personal statement. The range and quality of extracurricular activities available at The Sixth Form Bolton are outstanding and supported by highly dedicated staff. Participation in enrichment helps our students grow into mature, responsible, successful young people.
This year is different from previous years, in that activities have moved online, but it’s great that B6 students are still getting involved and benefitting from what’s on offer. Not only that, but it’s also great to see many of our staff embracing this opportunity and sharing their skills with students. It’s just another example of how our staff go above and beyond to support our students in their learning.
