Congratulations to all our students!

Another exceptional set of results!

The College is celebrating an overall pass rate of 99% with 53% achieving high grades. These results are 5.5% above the national rates for post-16 advanced level providers and many students have now achieved the grades they need to go on to secure places at top universities across the country.

Alex Fau-Goodwin, Principal of Bolton Sixth Form College,  said: “These fantastic results reflect the hard work put in by students and staff, 92% of students studying vocational subjects achieved the highest grades. There has been an overall increase in grades from last year and our students can be very proud of their achievements”.

These successes rank the College alongside the outstanding schools and colleges in the country and continues to show that Bolton Sixth Form College provides outstanding education for 16 to 19 year old pupils.

Strong academic and employment links

The College has an excellent careers programme with many pupils securing work placements with local employers and gaining invaluable advice and guidance. The skills they have gained have helped with interviews and have led to them securing places at top universities and with employers.
