Children’s Play, Learning & Development undertake First Aid Training from Sweetlove TrainingDate Posted: 16/12/2020 | Posted In: Student News
This week our Year 13 Vocational A Level Children’s Play, Learning & Development class undertook training from Sweetlove Training. They completed the paediatric first aid as part of their course, as this is a mandatory element. The class studied different areas of first aid such as: how to complete CPR, how to put someone in the recovery position and what the signs on meningitis are.
The students worked together in a safe way to complete practical aspects of the course. They worked safely and demonstrated the skills that the trainer Malcolm Sweetlove showed them during the training.
Malcolm commented that the group were interested in the subject, engaged and a pleasure to work with –
“The group of students were BRILLIANT! They asked great questions, joined in well and are now well equipped for paediatric first aid. They were tremendous, 100% focussed on the learning and a real credit to The Sixth Form and their families, particularly during these difficult times.”
