Progress Tutor

Term-Time Only

 36.25 hours Per Week, 7.25 hours per day in conjunction with the timetable

 The Sixth Form Bolton, has an exciting opportunity for a supportive, student focussed individual to join our Pastoral Team as a Progress Tutor.

 The Progress Tutor role delivers support and pastoral care to students across the College encompassing taught tutorial sessions, interventions, managing student conduct and the provision of in course and post exam support and advice.

 In addition, the post will undertake the following duties:

  • Providing high quality 1-1 support to a cohort of tutees
  • Identifying students that would benefit from specialist mentoring
  • Delivering workshops to support Literacy and numeracy skill development
  • Supporting and assisting with career planning, UCAS applications and applications for training or employment
