Located 10 miles northwest of Manchester with excellent motorway access, The Sixth Form is a vibrant, highly aspirational, high achieving Sixth Form College of c. 1800 students.  A modern building with fantastic facilities, it is located in the newly developed education sector of the town centre and offers a wide range of A Level and Level 3 BTEC programmes.

To further support the focus on student experience and achievement, we are looking to appoint a part time Student Liaison Officer to join our small but very effective team of student liaison personnel.  The main focus of this role will be to ensure that the student study and social spaces which are sited across 5 floors within college are used with respect and consideration for all other users in line with the student code of conduct and expectations of student behaviour standards. This role will focus on the 1st floor which is a busy study environment for mainly the Business, Computing and Music Students

If you are a pro-active individual who has excellent interpersonal skills, experience of working in a youth environment and are able to use management and resolution skills to deal with situations as they arise, then we would like to hear from you for the post of:

Part Time Student Liaison Officer

25 hours per week Monday – Friday 10.00am – 3.00pm Term Time Only

 Salary will be pro rata to £20,771 (Actual Salary £12,149)

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Demonstrate a professional and proactive approach to student liaison and learner safety.
  • Exhibit a full understanding and appreciation of maintaining a disciplined and industrious working environment for all learners.
  • Actively maintain the confidentiality of both individuals and security sensitive information in relation to the building and security systems.
