Zakiyah Limalia

Zakiyah was an extremely active member of the Women into Leadership programme and the Apprenticeship Academy whilst at B6. This gave her the opportunity to gain all the skills and develop the confidence she needed to get through the assessments and interviews involved in the application process. The specialist information provided for degree apprenticeships and ongoing support from the careers team helped Zakiyah to secure an apprenticeship at Saffery Champness doing Level 7 Association of Taxation Technicians.

Level 7 Association of Taxation Technicians Apprenticeship at Saffery Champness

The support I received from being involved in the Apprenticeship Academy gave me the opportunity to gain all the skills I needed to get through the assessments and interviews involved in the application process. The specialist information provided for degree apprenticeships has been second to none, with ongoing support from the careers team and guest speakers leading regular workshops. I honestly don’t think I would have been able to get through the vigorous process let alone secure several apprenticeships offers, without the support I was given from The Sixth Form. If you’re thinking of going for an apprenticeship, it’s definitely worth signing up for the Apprenticeship Academy.
