Higher Education – Which route is right for you?

Deciding whether or not to go to university is one of the most important decisions of your life and will definitely shape your future career. Before deciding you will have to consider various things:

  • What subject(s) do I enjoy?

  • What am I good at?

  • What do I hope to achieve in the future?

  • Which universities would I be happy to attend?

  • Do I want to live at home, or move away to study?

The university experience can extend your personal development, nurture your intellectual curiosity, improve your career prospects and of course, it can also be fun!

Here at The Sixth Form over 80% of our students progress onto university or secure a degree-level apprenticeship and whilst we appreciate university is not for everyone, we encourage all our students to research their higher education options and most importantly, to arrange an appointment with the careers team to discuss their future plans.
