Located 10 miles northwest of Manchester with excellent motorway access, The Sixth Form is a vibrant, highly aspirational, high achieving Sixth Form College of c. 1800 students. A modern building with fantastic facilities, it is located in the newly developed education sector of the town centre and offers a wide range of A Level and Level 3 BTEC programmes.
The Sixth Form Bolton has an exciting opportunity for an Art Technician that will make a vital contribution to the running of this creative and supportive department.
The department is based on one campus in Bolton Town Centre. We currently offer:
A-level Art, Craft & Design
A-level Fine Art
A-level Graphic Design
A-level Photography
UAL L3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practise
The department provides specialist resources such as an all-purpose art & design studio, photography darkroom and Graphic Design studio. We are looking for a Part-time art technician who can support all these subjects, making a vital contribution to the Department’s needs.
You will be working within a friendly team and will become involved in many aspects of the college.
