Education, Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
If you have an EHCP, please ensure you apply as early as possible (usually between October and 31 December): this will enable us to provide a supportive transition that is in line with your needs and a detailed support plan can be put in place for you.

Before you start college life at The Sixth Form Bolton, you will have completed our applications process managed by the Admissions Team. The Admissions Team will oversee the following key stages:
the online application
your interview
your formal offer
and your enrolment to college
When you apply, you will create an 'application portal' through which future communications will be managed. The e-mail address and password you use for this will be very important, please keep these safe.
Please ensure that you use a personal e-mail address (not a school email) for the application. We will contact you through your personal email throughout the application journey regarding September 2025 admission.
Applications received by the closing date will be offered an interview, during which we will discuss your chosen course/s and your application in general. Interviews will take place between November and March 2025.
Interviews will take at The Sixth Form Bolton, on a one-to-one basis. Further information about interviews will be provided to you once we process your application.
Offers will be made at interview. You will receive your formal offer via email, please ensure you check your inbox or junk folders. Your offer, and other relevant information, can be found on your applicant portal.
If you wish to change your course following receipt of your offer, please contact admissions@bolton-sfc.ac.uk. Please note we are unable to change courses after March 2025.
