Bursary & Travel Grant Process For Entry 2019/20
Students living more than 4 miles from College are eligible for help with travelling costs. The minimum payment in 2018 was £13.00. This is not means tested.
If your parents’/guardians’ household income is less than £30,000 per year, you will be entitled to a Bursary to help with College costs. The minimum payment in 2018 was £13.00. Relevant evidence will be required as this is means tested.
If your parents’/guardians’ are in receipt of an income based benefit, you may be entitled to free meals/snacks or drinks up to the value of £3.00 per day.
Information and application forms will be available from the 1st June 2019 via the College website.
The College offers the following benefits to students:
- All courses are FREE
- Trips/educational visits that are essential for the course will be FREE
- Other trips/educational visits may be subsidised
- Transport to essential College-related activities will be FREE
- Examinations will be FREE for the first entry
