Bursary Process For Entry 2020/21

If your parents’/guardians’ household income is less than £35,000 per year, you will be entitled to a Bursary to help with Sixth Form costs.Relevant evidence will be required as this is means tested.

If your parents’/guardians’ are in receipt of an income-based benefit, you may be entitled to free meals/snacks or drinks up to the value of £3.25 per day.

Due to the introduction of the Greater Manchester ‘Our Pass’ scheme, The Sixth Form is not offering a Travel Grant option for the 2020/21 academic year.

Our Pass’ (https://ourpass.co.uk/) provides free bus travel within Greater Manchester for all 16-18 year olds. However, if you use other types of public transport to attend The Sixth Form or live outside of Greater Manchester, funds may be available to assist you with this. Financial Support

The Sixth Form offers the following benefits to students:

  • All courses are FREE
  • Trips/educational visits that are essential for the course will be FREE
  • Other trips/educational visits may be subsidised
  • Transport to essential Sixth Form-related activities will be FREE
  • Examinations will be FREE for the first entry

Funds are available to support the following:

  • Student Bursary
  • Free Meals
