All students follow full-time programmes, consisting of their chosen course(s), tutorial, skills development, work experience and an enrichment programme. There are also many opportunities to add to your programme through extra qualifications and activities.

ACADEMIC OR VOCATIONAL COURSES?

The main difference between these courses is that Academic subjects (A Levels and AAQs) are assessed mainly through examinations, with coursework modules in some subjects. Vocational courses are mainly coursework based, with examinations or external assessments in most subjects.

Deciding whether to study an Academic or a Vocational course can be confusing. To maximise options, we offer students three different pathways and give them the opportunity to mix A Levels, AAQs and Single Vocational subjects to create a broader combination of qualifications and skills.

Universities welcome applications from students with both Academic and Vocational qualifications.
