The Pearson AAQ Level 3 in Game Production is a brand-new qualification that is potentially launching in September 2026, designed to take your creativity and technical skills to the next level. Whether you dream of designing immersive worlds, coding gameplay mechanics, or creating stunning visuals, this course offers a hands-on, industry-relevant pathway into the world of game development.
You may explore the game creation pipeline—from concept to completion—using professional tools like Blender. Learn how to model 3D environments, texture assets, script gameplay, and build interactive experiences. You’ll also dive into storytelling, level design, user experience, and the business side of the gaming industry.
Students studying three A Levels and/or AAQs will be expected to have a minimum of two GCSEs at grade 5 and three at grade 4, including English Language and Mathematics.
