With the ability to deliver outstanding lessons in Drama and Performing Arts, we would like to hear from enthusiastic teaching professionals who are passionate about their subject and enjoy supporting and challenging students to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. A Performance related degree is essential and any experience in theatre directing and design would be an advantage but is not considered essential.
The Performing Arts Department is a small but vibrant part of the Sixth Form. As well as offering A Level Drama and Theatre Studies, the department also offers Btec courses in Performing Arts, Music and Music Technology, alongside A level Film Studies and Media Studies. We also provide an exciting Enrichment programme which attracts students from across the entire college.
We are seeking to appoint a teaching professional who can teach A level and BTEC L3 and contribute to our enrichment programme and engage students with a range of diverse and well-planned lessons and who will stimulate their curiosity for the wider world of performing arts.
