This event is for new B6 students joining us in September 2024
The campus will be open from 10am to 2pm. However, to ensure a comfortable experience for all, there are three different entry times, please choose just one. We envisage you will need no longer than 2 hours on campus to experience the day fully
Entry times: 10am, 11am, 12pm
You will have the opportunity to explore The Sixth Form Bolton, visit your new subject areas and meet the teachers as well as taking part in a range of workshops on offer throughout the day.
Workshops are repeated throughout the day to ensure that each entry time is accommodated for.
Other things to do on the day:
Have your photograph taken for your student ID ready for enrolment
Find out about what enrichment activities are on offer
Chat to our friendly Pastoral, Careers and Support staff
Enjoy complimentary food samples and drinks from our Bistro
Parents/ carers needn't attend, as this is an excellent opportunity for the students to experience sixth form life independently.
There will be a huge selection of timetabled workshops running throughout the day and more information regarding these will be shared closer to the time. The event allows you to independently plan your day depending on your interests and chosen courses. You will also have the opportunity to explore the campus and visit your subject areas.

At New Student Day, our teachers will be on-hand to introduce the pre-induction activities for their subjects. All students joining B6 in September 2024, regardless of whether they attend New Student Day, are expected to complete these activities.
