Degree Apprenticeship Success for B6 Students

Muskaan Patel and Molly Ashworth celebrating their Results Day success

The Sixth Form Bolton is proud to highlight the remarkable achievement of many of its students who are progressing onto highly prestigious degree apprenticeships. The Sixth Form runs its very own Apprenticeship Academy, supporting and mentoring students on their journey to secure higher and degree apprenticeships.

Degree apprenticeships are a unique pathway in higher education and allow students to learn through a combination of working and studying, all while earning a wage, making them a highly sought-after option for those leaving college and beyond.

Muskaan Patel, a former student of Essa Academy, achieved Distinction Stars in Single Vocational Business, Law and Public Services and is now preparing for a Degree Apprenticeship in Business Management with Capgemini.

Muskaan, who endured a rigorous recruitment process to secure her place, said of her amazing achievement:

“I’m so relieved and grateful to receive my grades.  I’ve worked so hard and I’m really proud of myself. I’d like to shout out to the Careers Team for helping me throughout my multiple breakdowns whilst securing my dream apprenticeship.”

Former Woodhey High School student, Molly Ashworth, is celebrating achieving an amazing two grade As in Economics and Mathematics, an A* in Accounting plus a grade A in her Extended Project Qualification.  Molly is excited to start her Audit Assistant Apprenticeship with top accounting firm Crowe UK.

Molly said:

“A huge thank you to all the great teachers who have supported me to not only get my grades but secure an apprenticeship with a top accounting firm.”
