The Sixth Form Bolton is proud to celebrate the achievements of its students who are now embarking on their nursing careers at some of the UK’s top universities. These outstanding young people, coming from a variety of former schools, have excelled in their vocational studies and are ready to make a real difference in healthcare.
Among the students:
Ruweyda Duhal, formerly of University Collegiate School, will study Adult Nursing at The University of Manchester. Ruweyda achieved a remarkable Triple Vocational Health & Social Care (D*D*D*). “It’s amazing to receive my results. I’ve worked so hard, and I’m delighted to be progressing onto a top university to start my dream career,” she shared.
Esther Onaopemipo Sanyaolu, who joined us from Bolton College, is off to university to study Paediatric Nursing. Esther also secured a Triple Vocational Health & Social Care qualification (D*DD). “I’d like to thank the whole Health and Social Care department for all their help and support. I’m heading off to university and it’s all thanks to them,” she expressed gratefully.

Ell Heyworth, a former student of Fred Longworth High School, will take her studies in Children’s Nursing to Edge Hill University. Ell achieved a Triple Vocational Public Services qualification (D*D*D*). “I’d like to thank the support teams at the college for always giving me a shoulder when I needed it. It’s thanks to them that I’m where I am now,” she said.
Isra Mehmood, from Bolton Muslim Girls School, is heading to the University of Greater Manchester to study Children’s Nursing, having earned a Triple Vocational Health & Social Care (D*D*D*). “My tutor and all my teachers have been amazing. I’ve loved everything about The Sixth Form and I’m really sad to leave,” Isra reflected.
