Everyone at The Sixth Form Bolton was over the moon to hear that Level 3 Performing Arts and Music and A Level Graphics student, Leah Kirkman had secured an acting agent in London. Leah, a former Smithills School student, has signed up with Rotten Orphans a talent agency which represents young performers across Film, Television, Radio and Theatre.

The Performing Arts department were delighted to find out about Leah’s contract saying:

“We wish Leah all the luck pursuing her creative career and can't wait to see her on the big screen in the future.”

Leah was grateful to the Performing Arts department too:

“I’m so happy and grateful to have an opportunity to join an Agency and I want to say a huge thank you to my drama teachers: Olivia, for in helping me with my audition, and Sam for giving me experiences I never imagined I'd have for filming. Also, thank you to Matthew for always being there to support me through everything. I'm so incredibly lucky and excited for what’s next”.

Leah has been a fantastic member of the Sixth Form student body. She played for the Girls Football Academy and took part in the filming of the Sixth Form’s promotional video. We wish her every success in her career and look forward to following her journey.
