Students Achieve Their Potential at The Sixth Form Bolton

The Sixth Form Bolton is proud to celebrate another year of exceptional results, with students across both A Level and Vocational courses performing well above national benchmarks. Our success is built on a simple but powerful belief: that every student deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential in a supportive, ambitious environment.

This year, our students achieved an outstanding 97% A Level pass rate, with 88% of all courses achieving a 100% pass rate. Vocational learners also excelled, with 99.5% of BTEC Extended Diploma students gaining higher-grade passes, significantly above national averages.

As one of the top Sixth Form Colleges for progression to Higher Education, our students continue to secure places at leading universities and on prestigious Degree Apprenticeships. From medicine, science, and law to business, arts, and sport, our graduates are stepping confidently into the next chapter of their lives.

Principal Stuart Merrills said:

"We are incredibly proud of this year’s students and all they have accomplished. Their results are not only a reflection of their hard work and dedication, but also the expertise and commitment of our teaching and support staff. We are thrilled to see so many achieving the grades they need to follow their dreams."

As we celebrate the success of this year’s leavers, we are excited to welcome our new students this September. If you’re ready to challenge yourself, grow, and achieve your potential, The Sixth Form Bolton is ready to support you every step of the way.

Your future starts here.
