Business Students Take Next Steps After Outstanding Results

Vocational Business students from The Sixth Form Bolton are celebrating outstanding success as they begin the next stage of their journeys at university and through professional apprenticeships.

Among those achieving excellent outcomes is Wezana Da Veiga, who joined The Sixth Form Bolton from Buile Hill Academy in Salford. After achieving D*DD, she has now started studying Human Resource Management at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Kyle Patel, formerly of Little Lever School, has secured an Accounting Finance Manager Apprenticeship with The Fragrance Shop after achieving a Distinction in Single Vocational Business, a Distinction* in Sport Science, a B in Core Mathematics and a C in A Level Accounting.

Joel Inneh, from Mount St Joseph RC High School, achieved D*DD and has progressed to Edge Hill University to study Accounting and Finance. Meanwhile, Samirah Patel, formerly of Smithills School, achieved DDD and has begun her Law degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Diane Nelson, Teacher of Business at The Sixth Form Bolton, said:

“We are incredibly proud of everything these students have achieved. They have worked hard throughout their time with us, shown real determination and ambition, and fully deserve their success. It has been a privilege to support them over the past two years, and we are delighted to see them taking their next steps at university and in the workplace.”
