Earlier this term, our first-year students enjoyed a full day off timetable to take part in a huge variety of Enrichment activities. Enrichment Day is an exciting fun-filled day of enrichment activities students can sign up to and boost their UCAS applications and CVs.
In a competitive job and university market, students need to ensure they develop the skills that allow them to stand out from the crowd. Students need to be able to talk about more than just academic achievements. 68% of university admissions departments say that regular enrichment adds value to a personal statement. The range and quality of extracurricular activities available at The Sixth Form Bolton is fantastic and supported by highly dedicated staff. Participation in enrichment helps our students grow into mature, responsible, successful young people.
There was a huge number of different activities available to our students including off-site excursions to Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Rivington Pike and on-site activities including Ladies Boxing, Musical Theatre, Criminology Murder Mysteries and Computer Design.
It was great to see so many of our staff planning exciting trips and creating highly engaging in-house workshops to share their wider skills and interests with students. It’s just another example of how our staff go above and beyond to support our students in their learning and beyond.
