The B6 Alumni was established to help you keep in touch with what The Sixth Form can offer you, even after you have left. It also helps us to inspire the next generation of students by sharing your stories. If you are an ex-student of The Sixth Form Bolton and have not yet joined we would be delighted to hear from you. We are incredibly proud of our Alumni, with 99% of students immediately progressing to universities, apprenticeships or employment.
Alumni members have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of Sixth Form events including career aspiration talks, mock interviews, advice and support for applying for university, apprenticeships or work. Our Alumni members are also able to facilitate work experience and mentoring opportunities.

Second-year students at The Sixth Form Bolton have recently begun hearing back from their university applications, with several receiving offers to study Medicine and Veterinary Science. Anya Patel, a former Sharples School pupil who studies A Level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology alongside the Honours Programme with EPQ and Core Maths, was delighted to receive an offer from the University of Nottingham to study Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
Second-year students at The Sixth Form Bolton have been delighted to begin receiving responses to their university applications, with many securing offers from highly prestigious institutions. Ailsa Fox, a former Darwen Aldridge Community Academy student, who studies A Level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology alongside the Honours Programme and an Extended Project Qualification at The Sixth Form, has secured an offer from Wadham College at the University of Oxford to study Biochemistry.
Earlier this term, two members of staff from The Sixth Form Bolton represented the college at Bett 2026 in London.
